Early Medieval Chronicles

This seminar explores the mental world of late antiquity and the early Middle Ages as revealed in the texts of the time. Special attention will be paid to the intellectual, religious and social context of the writings and the writers' lives. PREREQ: a related 3000-level HIST course or the approval of the department.
