Foundations of Network Forensics

This course presents an introduction to advanced-level Digital Network Forensics. Topics include the overview of the Internet, LANs and WANs, basic principles of networking, the OSI model, the TCP/IP stack, network protocols, understanding network traffic and its significance in forensics investigations, step-by-step walkthrough of a network forensic investigation, and simulating a network crime scene.
