The Craft of Writing Poetry

This workshop explores poetry-forms, techniques, and traditions-through creative writing assignments, including the creation of individual portfolios. The course analyses the possibilities of the genre, and fosters a critical approach to the craft of writing poetry. ENGL 3516 is recommended. Prerequisite: minimum of 18 university credits.
