Occupational Health Engineering in Mining

This course introduces students to the concepts of anticipating, recognizing, describing, assessing and controlling occupational health and safety hazards in the workplace. The course is also designed to familiarize students with the local, national and international legislations and standards and how these relate to the reduction or elimination of occupational health and safety risks.
