This course explores how water is managed, supplied, and treated within urban environments, focusing on the interactions between natural hydrological systems, pollution sources, and engineered infrastructure. The impact of urbanization, contaminants, climate change, and policy on the sustainability of water systems, with a regional focus on Sudbury, Ontario, is also covered.
