Counselling Older Adults

The course provides approaches to gerontological counselling. The focus is on the Canadian context enriched by considerations of other cultural perspectives and worldviews. Topics include the counselor role and the counselling process,; the major theoretical orientations used in counselling older adults, and the development of counselling skills.
