Pseudohistory

This course examines junk history and fake historical scholarship. The course introduces a variety of pseudohistorical sources, and compares and contrasts these works of pseudohistory with real history, The techniques which pseudohistorians use to make their implausible claims appear plausible are discussed. PREREQ: 18 university credits .(Lec/Sem/Cst) cr 3. Students cannot retain credits from HIST 3836 and HIST 4835.
