History of Science and Technology since 1700

This course examines changes in science and technology in western cultures from the Scientific Revolution into the current era. Particular attention is given to how scientific, technological, and social changes transformed daily life as well as cultural norms. Students gain historical perspectives on scientific and industrial innovation, both their origins and their impacts. PREREQ: 18 university credits. (Lec 3) cr 3.
