Seminar in Materials Science

Faculty members, invited speakers, and fellow students will present topics of current interest in materials science in a scheduled series of seminar presentations. Students must attend at least 24 seminars over the period of their program. In addition, during the first year of the course, each student must present a seminar based on his or her thesis topic. During the second year of the course, each student must present a second seminar consisting of a critical analysis of a topic unrelated to the student's graduate work. (sem 3) cr 3.
