Behaviour Reduction and Intervention

This course provides an in-depth exploration of behaviour reduction and skill acquisition procedures within Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Behaviour reduction focuses on strategies to decrease the frequency, intensity, or duration of inappropriate behaviours, which may be disruptive, harmful, or interfere with an individual's learning and daily functioning. Skill acquisition involves systematically teaching new skills to replace maladaptive behaviours and enhance the individual's ability to function effectively and independently.
