Child Language Development: Birth to 12 Years

This course focuses on the language milestones achieved by children during the pre-linguistic, preschool and school-age periods. The acquisition of lexicon, phonology, morphology, semantics, and syntax will be reviewed. The impact of knowledge and language skills on children's academic achievement and social success are an integral part of this course. Lec. (3h) 3 cr.
