Recherches

Je suis scientifique aquatique et écologiste des communautés d’eau douce à la Direction de la surveillance et des rapports environnementaux du ministère de l’Environnement, de la Protection de la nature et des Parcs de l’Ontario. Mes recherches contribuent à la surveillance, à la gestion et à la protection des eaux intérieures en Ontario. Je suis également professeur à l’École des sciences naturelles de l’Université Laurentienne et mon programme de recherche comprend la supervision de projets de recherche de premier cycle et de cycles supérieurs. Mon laboratoire de recherche se trouve au Centre pour la vitalité des lacs Vale, sur les rives du lac Ramsey.

Je mène des recherches sur les caractéristiques limnologiques et écologiques uniques des lacs et des cours d’eau du nord de l’Ontario, leur rétablissement après les impacts historiques de la pollution et les effets potentiels des changements environnementaux plus récents et en cours.
