What co-op is
Co-op consists of paid, full-time work terms related to your program. Work terms typically last 4–16 months and are completed during your degree.
Who can participate
Co-op opportunities are available to undergraduate students in:
- Computer Science
- Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical/Mechatronic, Mining)

Flexible timing
Work terms may begin in September, January, or May, depending on your program structure and placement.
Paid placements
All co-op placements are paid and provide real workplace experience in engineering and computer science fields.
Average wages
Recent average hourly wages include:
• Computer Science ~ $28/hr
• Chemical Engineering ~ $27/hr
• Mechanical Engineering ~ $27.70/hr
• Mining Engineering ~ $29.59/hr
