L’équipe Enactus de la Laurentienne gagne un Prix Spirit

L’équipe de la Laurentienne figure parmi les huit lauréats d’un Prix Spirit au concours de cette année

Congratulations to the team members of the student of Laurentian who won a Spirit Award at the 2015 national competition enactus Canada. This event took place from May 11 to 13 at the Palais des Greater Toronto conference.

 

A total of 58 Canadian universities and colleges participated in the competition, which the Laurentian Group was awarded one of eight Spirit of enactus Price. It is awarded to a team from each division with projects incorporating the enactus goals. Members of the team enactus Laurentian are: Richard Filliter (Chairman), Valérie Carrey, Justin Labelle, Jean-Noël Desmarais and Eric Lavergne-Giroux.

 

The enactus Canada national competition will be a platform providing opportunities for teams to present their communities empowerment projects. Through a series of presentations, the students present their projects on community outreach and how these shape the economic landscape, social and environmental in Canada. The judges are business leaders responsible for evaluating the projects presented.
