Conflict Resolution and Peace-Making in Indigenous Social Work Practice
This course explores the interrelationships of various branches of Indigenous social work practice through the Braid Method. The personal, the professional and the pragmatic are "braided" to understand how conflict is present in everyday life. Conflict resolution is explored with an emphasis on issues of trust and distrust. Holistic methods of peace-making are addressed. PREREQ: Students must have at least 60 university credits.
