Historical and Comparative Sport and Physical Education

The historical aspect of the course covers the major historical events in sport and physical education with emphasis on the social and political factors leading to their development. The comparative component surveys the development and structure of contemporary systems of sport and physical education in various countries throughout the world. (lec 3) cr 3.
